First Garden Square openings coming in May

On Saturday 25 May, Beaverbrooks will be the very first store to open its doors at Rushden Lakes’ Garden Square. The British jeweller’s showroom, which is celebrating its 100thanniversary as a top UK jeweller, will feature a range of watches from top brands including TAG Heuer, Tudor, Gucci and Michael Kors.

Beaverbrooks will be closely followed by Hotter Shoes on Friday 31 May, which specialises in men’s and women’s footwear with style and comfort in mind.

Other confirmed retailers for Garden Square include Jones Bootmaker, which is set to arrive in late June, Skechers and mobile phone specialist, Three.

Following the completion of the West Terrace and Garden Square, the shopping and leisure destination will have received an extension of 172,000 sq.ft, which will double the size of the destination to more than 450,000 sq.ft.

Paul Rich, Centre Manager at Rushden Lakes, said:

“Seeing Rushden Lakes go from strength to strength has been fantastic and what’s to come is going to make it an even more attractive and inspiring place to visit.”

“Garden Square is located next to the South Terrace just past Card Factory and will directly lead to the West Terrace at the far end of Rushden Lakes,” he said. “We’re very pleased to see so many great brands and we look forward to announcing more opening dates for both developments in the near future.”
